Itinerary
Day 1 : Dharamshala Arrival - War Memorial - Kunal Pathri Temple
Arrive in Dharamshala (Airport) or by cab from Chandigarh or Pathankot and, meet our representative before being introduced to your private driver who will accompany you for the duration of your trip. You will be driven to your hotel and have some time to relax and recover from the flight.

In the afternoon visit War Memorial, situated  at the entrance point of Dharamshala. Built in the memory of the valiant soldiers who fought for their motherland, you can witness the names of war heroes inscribed here and the mere sight of war tanks makes it worth the visit. The trail through the pine tree forests and the hidden routes to them to visit the memorial is quite astonishing in itself.

Later visit Kunal Pathri temple, it is believed the forehead of Sati fell, hence it is also called Kapaaleshwari temple. There is a small rock (saucer or forehead shaped), on which there is always water, since time immemorial. It never dries, though it is used by the priest for goddess.When it is about to dry, there is rainfall and the rock fills up with water, through a small opening in the roof. While coming back from Kunal Pathri we will have stop over at Dharamshala Tea Gardens. Return back to your hotel for night stay.

Day 2 : Mcleodganj, Bhagsunag Temple & Waterfall, Dal Lake, Naddi View Point

Explore Dharamshala and McLeod Ganj today with your local guide cum driver on a private tour. In the area you will notice the Tibetan population and vibrantly robed monks, making it feel like another country. The Tsuglagkhang Complex is particularly fascinating, home to the Dalai Lama and the Namgyal Monastery. Your guide can explain the complex history of Tibetan refugees arriving across the border with Tibet, as well as a visit to the Tibet Museum.

Next explore the nearby Mcloed Ganj Market that is famous for Tibetan handicrafts. From McLeodGanj go to the Church of St. John in the Wilderness. It is a beautiful church built in the neo-gothic style in 1852. The church has some exquisite Belgian stained glass windows. One of the Viceroys of British India, Lord Elgin, is buried in the grounds of the church.

Dal Lake afterwards, go for a walk around Dal Lake. The lake is a picturesque excursion spot surrounded by Deodar forests. Nearby is a Hindu temple dedicated to Durveshwar Mahadev. You can also walk out to the Waterfall from the temple of Bhagsunag. In the evening return back to hotel for night stay.

Day 3 : Norbulingka Institute, Chamunda Devi, Palampur
Leaving Dharamshala we continue our drive to Palampur. On the  way to Palampur we will visit Norbulingka Tibetan Institute and Chamunda Nandikeshwar Temple. Chamunda Devi is also referred to as Raktha Kali, Charchika and Chamundeshwari, Chamunda Devi is a terrifying version of Mother Durga or Durga Maa as locals refer her. It is believed that Goddess Durga created another goddess with immense power and strength to destroy the demons, Chanda and Munda. Upon destruction, the goddess was then named Chamunda Devi, or the one who triumphs over evil.

Later drive towards Palampur, a picturesque and refreshing destination, the tea capital of North India. Located in the beautiful Kangra Valley near the Dhauladhar ranges, Palampur allures everyone with its abundant natural beauty. On reaching Palampur visit Neugal cafe & Saurabh Van Vihar.The Saurabh Van Vihar is a nature park that has been built in dedication of the brave and valiant soldier Saurabh Kalia, who was a martyr in the Kargil War. Day 4 : Baijnath Shiv Temple, Bir Billing, Shrebling Monastery

Next morning, wake up early to enjoy the gorgeous sunrise and enjoy some private moments together before breakfast time. Savour the morning spread and begin it on a delicious note with a sumptuous breakfast and get ready for a full day local sightseeing  tour.

We will start our sightseeing tour by visiting Baijnath Shiv Temple, this magnificent temple is one of the top tourist spots among tourists and devotees who come here to seek the divine blessings of Lord Shiva, who is worshipped as the 'God of Healing'. It is believed that the water of this temple has medicinal value and has the potential to cure several illnesses and diseases. Besides, the unique architectural design of the temple bears resemblance to the Jagannath temple in Puri.

Our next point in the itinerary is Bir-Billing. Also referred to as the “Paragliding Capital of India”, Bir is one of the renowned centres for ecotourism, adventure sports, spiritual studies, and meditation. While Billing is the takeoff site for paragliding, the hamlet of Bir is the site for landing. It is a haven for adventure junkies and here you can have an exhilarating experience of paragliding. Enjoy the 360° panoramic view of the Dhauladhar Range of the Indian Himalayas from a phenomenal height while enjoying this aero sport.

Later visit Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat situated in the foothills of Kangra Valley in Upper Bhattu region. A quiet walk through the pine forest with colourful Buddhist prayer flags on the sides of the road takes you to the gompa. The monastery has shrine halls, a monastic college, a school, a library, a museum, an exhibition hall, and all these are nestled deep inside the pine forest. It’s like a different world altogether in the middle of serene nature where cheerful kids, youth and old seem to be celebrating life. There is a small canteen behind the main prayer hall where you can have noodles, thukpa, tea etc.
